Where I Can Be Found

Trees are turning
lights are burning
the woods are near the lasting sun.
Red is gold
Black is bold
the clouds billow where I will run.
A special place
to hide your face
You fear the change which I do not.
I wish to go
where the wispy winds blow
And river flows and trees lay rot.
Never again
Will it rain
Unless it calls across the land.
I speak for me
I want to see
Where I was in another lifespan.
Past lives are gone and mine is here,
I waste no time and have no fear.
We all must find a place to be
I'll find my place and plant my feet.
"They keep calling me", as the song leads away
I'll figure it out but won't go astray.
I'll live as a thing and no time be distraught
In the middle of here is the spot that I bought.

Oldie but goodie #3 / Indecisive Element poem
Indecisive Element - 04/24/1996

Lake alight in line and leaping
Wooded wanton weary way,
Turning flooding falling freely
Up and down not led astray.
To a time Cherokee flourished
Hunting trout with spear
White man came, his line he cherished
Of loss he had no fear.
Water turns from hand to hand
Never angry never stern
Connecting only to the land
Maybe we'll never learn.
Destiny is only for those
men who thrive despise,
Instinct is the only one chosen
Through the lake's blue eyes.
